Optimum would have a customer for 3 years, and I would have been elated that I got a good deal. Today, I am considering if having my internet through Optimum makes financial sense. As a direct consequence of me looking elsewhere, I have noticed that Verizon Fios has a better deal and claims faster and cheaper internet than Optimum. I’m hoping there’s not much they can mine from that call, considering I only gave the name on the account really - I’ll be watching my Optimum account online to see if my bill actually changes next month.
